MMM-UGGSY - Muggsy Spanier with George Brunis and George Wettling

MMM-UGGSY - Muggsy Spanier with George Brunis and George Wettling
CD / Product Number: JCCD3113

Muggsy was one hot trumpet player. He could swing like a garden gate. He was a consummate blues player. His career spanned decades of jazz history from the 20s to the 70s. He fronted a big band during the days of swing, and then returned to small band format in the 50s, when he was at the height of his powers. On the two sessions on this disc, he is accompanied by some other jaazz greats including Peanuts Hucko and George Brunis. Full details of the sessions and players inside.
