I Believe I Hear that Trombone Moan - Big Bill Bissonnette and the Easy Riders Jazz Band
In the mid 1980s, Big Bill Bissonnette and Paul Boehmke started a band together. They tried to blend the Classic Jazz of the 1920s - Paul was a huge fan of the clarinets of Omar Simeon, Johnny Dodds and Jimmie Noone - with the trombone style of Jim Robinson and the 60s revival. The result was musically successful as this CD will testify. Why not give it a try?
The personnel here are Big Bill Bissonnette trombone, Paul Boehmke clarinet and tenor sax, Bill Sinclair or Bob Shallue piano, Jim 'Tut' Tutunjian string bass and Bob Lasprogato drums. The CD runs 64.15 glorious minutes.
This is a special import, so please be patient while we await delivery from the USA!
